This work is part of a series of abstract textural works that call attention to land division, borders, and cultural divisions amongst people. It is inspired by the geographic divisions that mark racial segregation in our neighborhoods and societies today.
In this work, I was inspired by the process of etching. To create the white lines of this textural work, the layers of paint and plaster were carved from the surface of the panel.
All original works, such as this, come with a Certificate of Authenticity when purchased.
