Draped Forms is a category of sculpted compositions created from 2022 to the present, featuring deep reliefs that often resemble wet fabric or draped panels, sculpted from plaster and spackling paste. Drawing from Curiel's Mexican heritage, these pieces honor her ancestors and evoke cherished memories of bathing in rivers in Mexico during her childhood, elevating the essence of the places and people that shaped her identity.
