The Candleholder series is a testament to Monica Curiel's formative experience with grouting techniques, learned while assisting her father on construction sites. Using unassuming materials like spackling paste and coffee grounds, Curiel creates pieces that explore the relationship between movement, form, and materiality. Each candleholder is handcrafted, featuring subtle variations that reflect its unique creation process. Designed to hold standard taper candles, the collection offers single and multi-candle options.
